SEA Games 2015 - Selection Criteria

As Singapore prepares herself for the coming SEA games in 2015, all competing sports are to submit their final list of athletes that are slated to represent the country.

The Coaching Committee  has made the  decision to exempt the Top 4 Men players and Top Ladies' player from SEA Games Trials.

This is in view of their strong track records in Kijono Cup, representation in 2010, 2012, 2014 Asian Team C'ship, Sin Nationals and Closed, regional jumbo and singles events.

Men players

SSRA will nominate these 4 players + 2 additional squad members (players 5 & 6) + 2 non squad member  reserves (players 7 & 8) = total 8 male for SNOC consideration in Sea Games.

The 4 additional players (players 5,6,7,8) will have to go through rigorous full time or 6 days weekly training sessions, participation in tournaments, training camps and fitness test.

In view of this new decision, the Men's final SEA games trials will be conducted from 5 to 10 January to select the 5th and 6th squad members and 7th and 8th non squad member reserves.

Ladies players

The Ladies' Final Trials will be conducted from 26 Dec 2014 - 3 January 2015
